Liana Peklivanas is a Chartered Membership Fellow through the CIPD and joined the Damex team as Senior HR Manager. Born in the UK and raised in Spain, Liana has a rich cultural heritage as a Cypriot and Polish individual now residing in Gibraltar. She is currently enhancing her expertise by pursuing her CIPD Level 7, a postgraduate degree in Employment Law, and Strategic Leadership Management. This advanced education complements her extensive professional experience and strengthens her ability to navigate the complexities of human resources. In her role, she oversees all HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
Liana’s career began after she earned a degree in Phytomedicine and Psychotherapy. She started as a Personal Assistant (PA) for a gaming company, providing essential support in various administrative tasks. Her dedication and organisational skills led to her promotion to Office Manager, followed by roles in HR support, HR Coordinator and HR Manager. Through her perseverance and continuous growth, she steadily climbed the career ladder to achieve her current position as Senior HR Manager.
Outside of her professional life, Liana is passionate about creative pursuits. She enjoys making music, singing, and writing.
