Alexandra Carreras is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She joined the Damex.io team in May 2022 as Chief Financial Officer after having led Damex.io’s accounting and financial reporting as the firm’s outsourced accounting provider since the business’ incorporation in December 2017.
Through Alexandra’s years of industry experience and long relationship with Damex.io, she has a deep understanding of the business’ operating model, accounting and finance practices and has implemented a number of significant improvements to the firm’s financial reporting and other key practices in the firm’s finance department.
Alexandra is well placed to lead on the firm’s accounting and audit practices, bringing with her over 10 years of relevant experience having practised in external and internal audit, accounting, tax and other assurance matters. In this role she was responsible for engagements on various industries including distributed ledger technology/digital assets, financial services, gaming, real estate, investment holding and technological development.
In 2019, Alexandra was appointed director and statutory auditor in one of the top ten global firms and where she currently continues to be a non-executive director.
